Well, did you shave it off? I spotted the *only* guy with a freaky beard and spoke to him and he said he wasn't Stella Boy. I thought he couldn't hear what I was saying so after a while (after I'd watched him ask for a Stella at the bar...) I approached him again and checked that he'd heard what I'd said earlier. He agreed that he had a freaky beard and was the only person he'd seen with such a facial attachment but that he still wasn't Stella Boy....!

Anyway, good to meet in the flesh McC (again) and Ramshackles (what a fox! - sorry but you are!), Dunk909 and Jonny.

The night was a good atmosphered, good numbered, lively tuned night. CJ came on at 2 (I believe)(I noticed it was him DJing at 2:03 so he could have been on earlier).

Just as McC was leaving the door @ 3:35, he played "that tune". Did you hear it, McC? Then followed 25 minutes of my favourite tunes (about 5 of them) [including "it's in your mind", do-di-diddy-didle-didle, do-di-diddy-didle-didle, do-di-diddy-didle-didle, do-di-diddy-didle-didle, chyat, chyat, chyat chyat, chyat-chyat chyat-chyat, do-di-diddy-didle-didle, "it's in your mind", chyat chyat...] or maybe 3 of them mixed back and forth (Jonny, can you help here?). I don't know, I was too busy throwing crazy shapes, looking like a prat, but enjoying myself thoroughly.

no, i didn't shave it off but haven't had a shave for over 2 weeks so it was a wee bit ragged, not the usual freakyness :D nice to see you going up to some random and asking if he was stella boy after seeing him buy a pint !! haha

Bit of a strange night for me, it's one of the only nights i've been too where the music was harder when I walked in than when I left at 3:30. I thought Sheeva was pretty good and played some decent stuff but by the time Bolland came on I was struggling after being assaulted by relentless beats for 4 hours, must be getting on a bit :(

Good to see a few Orbiteers, though the crazy beard eluded me too.

well a few sweaty handshakes,ringing ears and a loss of about 2 pounds.....the result of a good night..... :D ....no surprises that he played the omnipresent "prophet" then...went down well with crowd though.....wonder if the night was recorded..would be nice to have a listen as there was some belting tunes played....not sure on the order of tunes played and im still not 100% of which tune the "in the mind" one is...anyone got a clip they could post......either way a good night all round.......nice t see u all in person too...... ;)

Mmm, that seemed to be the general opinion amongst my crew. Really looked forward to Bolland building on the soundscape painted before him, and then......plateau......with the odd moment of promise. Not that that hasn't been experienced many times before in Morley when Res builds up a head of steam, and then Guest starts again!

Just too bloody long ago when I felt the same way.... ;(

However, a successful techno excursion and some new Techno-virgins broken in.... :D

What a night that was, its been a long time since last seeing cj but imo well worth the wait i thought the guys set was quality, thought that everyone else played blinders too both upstairs and down, a massive thanks to everyone that came down and helped us kick off n.t.s, hope you all had a good one cos i sure did start to finish, hope to see you all next month ;)
