View Full Version : Top Floor Fillers - Round 15

13th September 2008, 09:56 AM
This is the final* Round 15 of the "Top Floor Fillers" competition. Listen to the entries for Round 15 on the Radio link above.
This is a competition designed to identify the tune(s) most likely to raise you from your pit, get you dancing for the first time in a night or get you on the dance floor / hanging off the railings / wherever, even though your body just couldn't take anymore. They might not be your favourites... but are they floor fillers?
Poll options:
Anonymous: No (everyone can see what you voted for)
Multiple votes: Yes (cast as many votes as you like but do them all at the same time)
Duration: Roughly one week (or a little longer)
Notes
- Vote for as many tunes as you like, but you can't go back and add any once you've submitted your votes. So, listen to everything first then cast your vote(s).
- This round will last for at least one week.
- There will be 15 rounds of voting. Each round will consist of 20 floor fillers.
- Top tunes from each round will go through to the finals.
- A cunning (and arguably most advanced) numbering system is being used to facilitate multiple weeks' tracks in the radio at any one time... use the scroll function if necessary to locate the tracks you're voting on.
Please vote responsibly :D
*= Thank fuck for that.

I prefer the mix of the Speedy J track that has the full vocals in it...
"Something for your mind, your body and your soul. It's the power to arouse curiousity...."etc etc
Anyone know the name of that mix?
Also, whilst I'm on the subject of whiny female vocals, anyone know this tune?
"I called you, but you weren't there...who were you with last night? Was it someone I know?" etc etc
Thanks in advance

OT - Flee old lad, I'm intrigued by the Sarah Palin theme - what's the story there? Is it a salute to her purported 'MILF' credentials, or a pisstake of her scarily right-wing and irrational view of the world?

It was a piss take but not in relation to drumcode or similar track. We established a while back that the artist formally known as ubernonkers was a good substitute for a classic track artist when you didn't actually know the artist. Thought it would be funny to slip it in the round, sorry!
