Spare Orbit Flyers...

Fellow board member ADS has generously offered his collection of flyers up to any board member who would appreciate them.

So, in best "in 20 words or less, please explain why..." format, the best post in this thread will get them.

To assist the process, I've taken the 77 flyers with 46 distinct sides and have supplemented them from my own spares bucket to make a 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize. However, to be honest, any decent post that's either inspiring, funny, or whatever will be eligible for a wodge of spares. Any that proper impress/humour me will get a bonus feature or two thrown in.

Do you remember an old magazine called Eternity? The first couple of issues they gave out free in the que to wantant ravers. I took one home and i remember my mum reading it and commenting that it seemed to champion the taking of drugs. Which it probabaly did.
Anyhow, they ran a competition to win 2 tickets to a nye do a some big rave somewhere, in scotland. And they simply gave the tickets to someone i know and reported them as the winner in one of their issues.
I hope we can expect a more fairly run affair from this, however i don t feel very hopeful if you re in charge Tyl3r. lol.

Was thinking of putting it to a public (theorbituary) vote but this is fraught with problems. So, in classic plutocratic style, I'll just decide...

In fact, I've just decided that I'll read them out at an orbiteers gathering that I'll be going to in early May (who are not orbituarians) and judge it by the titter factor there. (I do have my favourite, though.)

Well I must say I would love to have a proper collection like I used to have. When I moved into my house in Leeds I found that my mate who I shared a house with had decided to have a few of my flyers to himself, I had a full wall of orbit flyers. Anyways he moves into his new house with his bird who decided she doesn't like then so he throws them away fooking cunt. I have a couple of pictures containing beer pumps. Used to work for a brewery and they would be ideal as replacements within a frame, located at the bottom of the stairs and the wall infront of you as you go down. Gets down on his knees!!!!
